Greek Helsinki Monitor (GHM) and Minority Rights Group-Greece (MRG-G) release the “Parallel Summary Report on Greece’s Compliance with the
International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR)” submitted in February 2005 to the United Nations’ Human Rights Committee (HRC).
The HRC will review Greece’s implementation of the ICCPR on 22 and 23 March 2005 during its 83rd Session (14 March – 1 April 2005) held in
New York. On 22 March a GHM and MRG-G representative will brief HRC members ahead of Greece’s review.
